We always say be careful with how you care for cutting boards. With the remaining soap on the sponge after doing the dishes, use that little bit to carefully clean the surface. After scrubbing, wipe dry and let the air do its magic. Constant water/soap will dry out your cutting board. Apply mineral oil as needed. Stand on side for drying to allow air to evenly dry both sides.
